Charlie Blacque - Contract Roles

Charlie holds a B.Comm from University College Cork. He began his career in Accountancy recruitment with ANTS recruitment in 2000. In late 2001, Charlie joined The Accountants Panel where he was responsible for setting up the contract accounting division. Throughout the next seven years, Charlie would become the leading contract accounting recruiter in Dublin, through his personal approach to candidates, knowledge of his field and sales negotiation skills.

In 2008, Charlie left the Panel to setup Accountancy Professionals where he manages the contract accounting division. Charlie has a keen interest and knowledge of employment legislation relating to the recruitment industry and is a driver of recruitment through social media.

Barry O'Leary - Permanent Roles

Barry is an experienced financial recruiter with a strong track record working with qualified accountants in the Irish market. After studying Marketing in DIT, he started his recruitment career with Hays Recruitment over 12 years ago.

He moved to The Accountants Panel in 2002 and, while there, built a reputation as one of the best recruiters for permanent accountants. With a good success rate of filling high-profile roles in industry, financial services and practice, he offers an excellent service to any accountant looking at their career options. In 2008, Barry left the Panel to establish Accountancy Professionals where he now manages the permanent division.

Sinéad Smith

Sinéad is a graduate of Dublin City University with a BA (Hons) in Journalism. She has a keen interest in social media and has interned with the Press and Public Relations Office of An Garda Síochána where she managed their social media activities during the 2011 state visits of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and US President Barack Obama.

During this time she also composed a document for use by An Garda Síochána entitled Using Social Media which outlined how best to use Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and the website of An Garda Síochána within the organisation. Sinéad joined Accountancy Professionals in 2011 to manage the company’s online profile including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn as well as the company blog. Further to this, she became a Certified Internet Recruiter in 2011 and, alongside her online work, sources suitable candidates using Boolean search strings and other sourcing tools.

Gareth Little

Gareth is part-qualified ACCA with experience of having worked in industry. He has been working within recruitment since 2011 and manages the junior accounting desk including accounts staff and part-qualified accountants.

Having worked within these roles himself, Gareth has a good, first-hand understanding of his area and the candidates that are best suited to roles.
